Global State of Women is a global platform dedicated to advancing the power and potential of women worldwide.

We believe that when women have equal access to opportunity, capital, and community, everyone benefits. Our mission is to accelerate progress for women by investing in the systems, stories, and solutions that unlock their full economic and leadership potential.

Across industries and continents, women are leading change, yet too often without equal visibility, resources, or representation. The Global State of Women exists to change that. Through research, funding, and convening, we connect data with action and community with capital to drive measurable, sustainable impact.

Our initiatives include the Global State of Women Fund, which provides direct relief and startup capital for women experiencing the unemployment crisis the State of Women Reports, which track progress and spotlight disparities across sectors; and global Masterclasses, Summits, and Storytelling Platforms designed to build skills, networks, and momentum for change.

Founded by Valeisha Butterfield, we are a growing global movement, rooted in optimism, powered by data, and driven by the conviction that women’s progress is the world’s progress.
